pigdogboyandgirls: At a little over 2 quid a month its still pretty good value. I like to entertain the kids on a very tight budget! What is the target date?? May 16, 2013 22:34:19 GMT
Nick: You can find traditional PM-only caches very easily, 99.99% of the time. Google Earth does not distinguish between PM-only caches and free caches, which means you can zoom right into a location and see the likely hiding spot. May 17, 2013 6:53:28 GMT
Nick: I have found many PM-only caches this way, and GS has no problem with you logging them through their back door. You can't read the entire cache page, obviously, but you can know the location and the size of the cache you are looking for. May 17, 2013 6:54:36 GMT
Pir8sOld&New: PDBG, end of day on 27th Sept. 28th will be my first year up. Need to reach at least 500. Nick, Wasn't aware of that trick, will have a look into it, I have only done a few, either with other people who are PM's or asked owner first for permission. May 17, 2013 9:37:28 GMT
Nick: You don't need permission from the owner, and the owner cannot delete any found log on their PM-only cache by a non-PM member. GS are of the opinion that if you find a cache, you can log it online. May 17, 2013 18:32:56 GMT
Nick: (If you have your PM-only cache found log deleted by the owner, you can report this to GS, and they will let they cache owner know that you are entitled to log it as found.) May 17, 2013 18:33:52 GMT
Pir8sOld&New: Ah right, I thought it was good manners to ask the CO first. May 17, 2013 20:29:26 GMT
Nick: Oh, it is good manners. Nothing wrong with common courtesy and politeness. I was just ensuring you knew you didn't need permission from the owner. (ie if you asked the CO first, and they said "no", you could tell them that they can't actually stop you.) May 17, 2013 20:32:05 GMT
Gackt: Need Q, U, V, and Z to complete the TC LC Cacher Roundup. Now.. who can I bribe to change their caching names? (:)) May 17, 2013 23:03:59 GMT
Nick: Well done Gackt! I haven't checked my stats to see how far through the alphabet I get, but I bet I have a lot of letters to go! :D May 18, 2013 6:39:12 GMT
Nick: Oh, and this cache should be easy enough to get you the Z... ;) May 18, 2013 6:40:42 GMT
Nick: And I am sure you must be able to find at least one of UNK1's LCs too! Or failing that, an UrsusBear cache? May 18, 2013 6:42:42 GMT
Nick: OK, a bit of searching, and I've come up with this cache for your V. Might take a bit of searching, but I bet you can find one. (I'll be looking for one myself now... :D ) May 18, 2013 6:45:33 GMT
Nick: And here is a selection of caches for the Q! ;) May 18, 2013 6:49:03 GMT
Gackt: Thank you Nick for doing the finger work on those for me :) If you need help to find some letters for you then let us know. May 18, 2013 9:37:13 GMT
Gackt: Via one of your LCs I found Twinning last night. I though that would be really quick to do. I know where the Cirencester signs are, that bit was easy... May 18, 2013 9:39:09 GMT
Gackt: but it doesn't look that the Google street car has been through Itzehoe :( Never mind, I prefer to get outside to cache rather than do sit at home ones anyway :) May 18, 2013 9:40:16 GMT
Gackt: Just noticed this LC. If anyone wants to do that one and is near Ciren, let me know. I know the location of Totem Pole :D At least it was there a year ago, might go check it's still there today. May 18, 2013 9:46:40 GMT
walktall: I've got A-Z on GC caches and could use caches off other listings I've found to mix it up. I'm trying to complete 0 to 9 but missing 5,6 & 7. Have got my eye on some caches placed by 6treasureseekers on GC :) May 18, 2013 10:45:14 GMT
Griff Grof: I've done my A-Z of cache names, just missing some odd letters (x, z etc) and numbers, like walk tall, for cacher name A-Z :-/ May 18, 2013 17:13:48 GMT
