Cotswold Caching Survey – January 2015
The Cotswolds are home to a fantastic selection of caches to find both above and below the ground. If you live and cache in the Cotswolds, or have cached whilst visiting the area, please share with us your favourite finds – caches you would recommend to others.
For your answers, the cache’s published coordinates should ideally be within the border of the Cotswold AONB. If you are unsure of where the border is, details can be found on our forum or via www.cotswoldsaonb.org.uk
You may include caches from any listings sites as your answers.
As the results of the survey will form the basis of a report which will highlight to others good caches to do in the area, please where possible do not give ‘archived’ caches as your answers. If you feel a recently archived cache deserves a mention however, then do so and we will note it in a separate section of our published report.
If you are struggling to decide on one particular favourite then feel free to give more than one answer for each question.
Please complete this survey by midday on Sunday January 25th. Thank you.
The questions:
1. What is your favourite above ground cache find of all time? (Please give cache name or code, and write a few words to explain your choice.)
2. What is your favourite above ground cache series of all time? (Please give the name or code of at least one of the caches in the series, and write a few words to explain why this series is your choice.)
3. What is your favourite below ground cache of all time? (Cache must be hidden subterranean, or you must have to go under the ground at some point on the route to find the final cache. Please give the cache name or code, and write a few words to why this is your choice.)
4. Do you live in or near the Cotswolds, or do you live further away and have cached here whilst visiting?
Optional:
5. What is your caching name?
6. Are you happy for us to quote your answers from this survey in our final published report? (By default we will take this as ‘no’ unless you specifically write ‘yes’.)
The questions will also be asked, and answers collated, from our @cotswoldcaching twitter account, Facebook page, and right here.
