Hi Roger. I was looking through the TerraCache site last night just to see if there were any new ones on there around this area, which there aren't, but I did notice this one which Michaela Strachan placed on Country File in 2009:
No big surprise really of us joining. If you don't know us then we are Big T Little C, the other half of household caching team of Gackt. I am Tracy (Big T) and Little C is Chloe. We are not into geocaching as much as Gackt. We only have a few caches logged on our account but we have been to a number of caches with him, but made our own account in the summer so that we have our own name if we go to any events.
Yes it's the mad geocaching pensioner Lady-Magpie most local cachers from around Stroud know me and some further afield. Found this site thanks to a mention by Carrog so I better tell you a little about myself.
Retired 5 years ago and found the only exercise I got was walking between the armchair and the fridge, therefore as you can imagine disaster took over regard the weight. Realised that when I reached the same height lying down as standing up I had to do something about it. Was introduced to geocaching by my Niece and haven't looked back since, can't get enough of it - oh and I lost 6 stone in 18 months.
I write my own blog "The Ramblings of a Mad Pensioner", and have become a honorary author on an American geocaching blog site called: CacheCrazy.com they seem to like my mad humour.
Well enough of me, if you see me your recognise the hat.
Hi My name is Heather, my geo name is Ma John. I am based in Somerset and have been caching for just over a year - it's my passion, it keeps me sane. I drag my other half and my Irish Wolfhound along with me
