As we now have a plan forming I'm willing to make a few compromises.
All looks well for Janitor's Blither to be released on the day. I appreciate that it's doubtful anyone will have a printout of the route by the time we start, but I will have. As it's a keyword cipher for the route and a such is easy to work out, if you know the keyword and how. But if anyone tells me what the keyword is I'll supply copies of the route.
We can meet at Box or Brown's or even Kingsdown. I know BareClawz will be there even if I'm not. He's planning to spend the night in either Box or near Kingsdown, certainly in the area. If people want a breakfast he's willing to help out. For those that don't know he drives a big camper van and if someone is willing to come up with a loaf of bread, some eggs and some bacon he's willing to supply tea, coffee and either egg or bacon sandwiches, maybe even egg and bacon ones.
Now the caches; Looks like Janitors Blither is the preferred first one. Knowing the area and who lives nearby, there is one I can think of who will be after it on the day of release too ;-) Does anyone have any of the clues for Mega Breakfast? Whilst in that area there are 6 clues in Brown's Quarry for Mega Breakfast. Those could be got once JB is found. So that's about 2 hours of the day. If people want to do Gruidae there are 17 clues needed that should take about 7 hours. Whilst we're doing them there are three clues for MB in Box and they're all very close to the route for Gruidae. Also when doing Gruidae you pass within feet of one Earth Cache and very close to the other. So I have a suggestion. If anyone wants to meet earlier than 9 then we can. If so then in short time the one clue in Quarry 1 of MB can be got. Then we do the following; Janitor's Blither. Collect the clues for MB in Brown's Head to Box Quarry; tackle Gruidae, collecting the 3 MB clues along the way. In passing we do the 2 earth caches. Then head to quarry 4 and grab MB final. That will mean about 11-12 hours underground, but net Janitor's Blither Gruidae Old Stone Face The Great Rift Mega Breakfast. 5 x 5/5s
Right, as I see it I am in with little chance of solving Mega breakfast or Gruidae by 5th October due to work and social commitments. Are we happy for those who haven't solved the clues to find the caches. As for Janitors Blither I have the same issue, I am out all day and evening on the Friday and it looks like I am going to have an early start on the Saturday.
I managed the crawl into Fallen Monarch and the short cut from there into White Bird, is there anything too much more in any of the others? As you have probably guessed I get rather claustrophobic if I can't move my arms or legs.
Off to have a quick look at MB as I have got a few minutes

It's a team effort. So as long as one or more people have the route I'm happy for them to be used to find the clues. I suggest people pool their resources and if more than one person is working on the routes then one do quarry 1, another quarry 2, etc. There are several pages for Gruidae route and again one do page 1, another page 2 etc. The main thing is for at least one person to come up with the route printout.
If anyone else has deciphered other BA caches, has any other caches they want to do on the day, or don't want to do the longest ones, then please let us know.
tarmacjohn, if people have not deciphered all there will still be plenty they can help with on the day. Finding clues will be one part, as jester has mentioned. Help keeping track of where we are on maps is another. The 3rd quarry on MB is extensive and I have been more than just "misplaced" in there previously.. not trying to scare you off.
Entry to one of the quarries is a tight muddy squeeze, but it is short and opens up quickly. You will be fine there. I can't comment on routes for all the caches as I have not done the largest ones, but from reading the deciphered text I believe you will manage them. I think some of this will be more a test of stamina and navigational skills. We'll find out soon
My input as I could be cooking breakfast ;-) Tarmacjohn, the entry into the first planned quarry is muddy and a crawl. Once you're in then the passages open up and in places are almost cathedral like. OK not Cathedral as is in Box, but certainly church like.
The entrance to Box has been repaired and is now stable.
I guarantee once you're inside you won't regret it, in fact you'll kick yourself if you miss it! There are a couple of places where there is some climbing over roof falls, but when I created the route I chose one that novice cave explorers could do. The person who tested MB route was a young lady. If she can do it you can!!
Combining Mega Breakfast and Gruidae will be possible especially if the team can get the clues from Quarry 2. But as that is the one Janitor's Blither is in. So Jesters suggestion is a good one as long as people don't mind about 9-10 hours underground.
I can't guarantee I'll walk the whole route, I might take a few short cuts ;-) But I won't be far away

OK to start things off early, I'll be camped at Longsplatt layby OS grid ST82850 67255. It's a big red merc sprinter with a white line pattern in the sides.
If people want a very early start we'll pop to Quarry 1 of MB and get the clue before we meet the others at Janitor's Blither parking.

How early is very early? I'll probably be up for this but seeing as its such a long day it'll probably be me solo, sans kids! I'll see what the Mrs says about them first.
The grid I gave is the layby just off the road from 5 ways traffic lights heading towards The Swan Quarry/pub and is signposted Longsplatt. But it's hard to miss my van lol
