The second of our bimonthly Cotswold Caching events.
Sunday 8th March
3pm – 5pm
The local Cotswold Caching group will be holding a meet ‘n’ greet event every couple of months throughout 2015. It will be held on the second Sunday of the month and each event will take place at a different location within the Cotswolds.
For this second event we welcome you to The Fox Inn at Great Barrington.
We will be in the Riverside bar at the rear of the pub, turn left as you come in through the front door, or you can use the side entrance. The bar staff will direct you if you are unsure.
The establishment is open all day for food but you might want to arrive early and eat, so you don’t miss any of the chit chat which starts at 3pm.
There is free Wi-Fi throughout.
Well behaved children and pets (dogs not cats!!) are welcome.
There is free parking, some at the front and more round the back of the pub. From the A40 direction, you'll pass the entrance to the back car park before you get to the pub.
The 17th-century Fox Inn is set on the banks of the River Windrush, in the lovely Cotswolds countryside.
And if anyone wants any further information, here is The Fox Inn's web site.
The menu is a sample menu not current. The owner, Paul isn't that switched on with technology but said he's got a young girl starting, perhaps he'll get her to update the web site and FB
They hold each August bank holiday a music festival called Foxstock, think this will be it's fourteenth year
My new Wherigo cache, Church Micro 7418...Clapton-on-the-Hill got published earlier than I asked for, so disabled it but at least I know it will be ready to go for the weekend
Clapton is a lovely little village with splendid views
Was tempted to dive out early but decided to wait until later.
I will bring the TB drop box, banner, and event book. Feel free to use your own book if you want though of course, and if there's nowhere for the banner then no worries.. I forgot I brought it last time till the end, hence the silly photos with it.
I won't be there till 3pm. Football this morning, then out this afternoon with mutchie for a while who will then bring me to the event.
