Today we went caching in the Cotswolds. I know it's not a big deal to you residents, but as we normally hang out 150 miles away in Norfolk it was pretty special for us. Stopped off for our sandwiches and a couple of caches on our journey back from Dorset.
I hope you enjoyed your stop in the area. It was very nice to see some logs come through last night for a couple of my caches, quite a rare thing on my traditionals. Thank you for taking the time to do them.
Love the pic. Will have to sort you out a FF code for that one.
The bonus on the Croc one is that Nick_h-nz has a cyber CC7Q4 you can only log if you get a FTF on two caches at least a year after publication. I guess I'm now half way there.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion of course, but if like me you believe that bolting on the amount of homes that Tetbury currently has to the side of Chesterton in Cirencester, using up a huge chunk of farm land, and without updating and increasing the infrastructure is ludicrous, and if you use facebook, please do give the FB page a like in support.
Here's not the place for debate on that I know, so back onto caching... though 4 gc.com caches and 1 opencache.org.uk cache would be lost if the building goes ahead, that's worth a page like no?
No caching again for me the past week again Lots of work, and lots of non-work non-caching time consuming things unfortunately. Hopefully I can get out to do cache maintenance on one of mine tomorrow, at least that will get me out in the fresh air for a short time
With me driving up and down each week to see my Mum, I'm managing a few caches a week up north. In fact, I've checked out the Project-GC 'UK' map (& what's wrong with Northern Ireland) to see which 'Counties' (like the county of Derby, I've already got Derbyshire) I'm missing and hopefully will managed with detours, to grab a few.

Did a wall climbing taster session yesterday hoping that it'll help with some extreme caching, but caching plans have been put on the back burner today due to the weather (well I'd have still gone...)
The plan today was to go over the Bridge into Wales with caching buddies THE KOSCIOWS, Tim&Marion and Andy&thegirls USA, but having parked up at Serven View services the severn bridge was closed due to high winds, so after a short discussion it was the Cotswolds that got the vote. So a day doing Fine Pairs - CM's Little Bridges and SideTracked a total of some fifty caches and some very well known CO's (to this group)
I will be going out in the next couple of weeks once I get a proper free period to do major cache maintenance.
I haven't cached properly in ages, basically only going out to fill calendar squares. Cleared all of November up now, so only 9 more of this year and that's 365 days on the calendar filled, leaving only 29th Feb next year.
I'm heavily down on numbers compared to last year, but trying to tell myself, that at least I should have both 365 calenders filled by end of year.
Another day today doing maintenance, 11 in total all CM's in Somerset and I had 3 dnf's on 1 cache because of mud in gateway, the cache was on the other side of the road in clear gateway
