Looks very picturesque walk tall. Like Griff Groff, it's pretty much come and gone here now. Lot of water on the roads on the way to work, like lakes in places. Very cold though, I have stuck my little heater on, and it's got up to a sweltering 9°C in here I am not going to stay here long.
How's everyone faring with the rainfall overnight. I got pretty wet out caching last night, but otherwise I think we are not that badly effected in Cirencester.
I see on the news just now that down the road in Malmesbury they have a massive flood.
There are areas round me that have had problems: Bourton, Moreton, Shipton under Wychwood area but being on top of a hill (all routes are down hill), its been OK
That's good to hear you're ok yourself. The ground is pretty sodden hear too. Had to be wellies for the walk last night.
I think I will have to take a walk down to check on my Preston Bridge - A little bit of craziness cache a bit later on. I have got a strong feeling that the water levels are going to be close to turning that one into a travelling cache wannabe
A419 into Cirencester by the large Tescos is restricted with police presence. Whole area flooded, water in river is at cache level. I can't see the cache because of I have disabled for now because of, and for safety.

I fancy trying the 'Two tuns by tarmac' series at Luckington (coord.info/GC40KA2) on Thursday. Previous caches mention some localised flooding after heavy rain. Has anyone been up around there lately and can tell me if it's do-able for me with my little 'un in an all terrain pushchair?
It's not a series I have done, and I haven't been that way for a while, so I couldn't really say myself. I heard that there were some landslides at Old Sodbury area, but that is a little further on.
If the latest weather is correct the rain should be slowing now, with none on Wed and Thurs, so if any water levels are high now I would think they should be a bit better by then. Hopefully.
I was wondering earlier about the caches near the River Severn between Gloucester and Worcester, I saw a shot on the BBC that showed the river about 2 miles wide in places, hopefully the caches in this area are weighted down or attached securely otherwise they have probably had a merry voyage down the Bristol Channel!
Thanks for the link. I have been looking at that site this morning. I am surprised that there are not alerts showing right in the centre of Cirencester right now.
We've Just had a spot of some of the heaviest rain I have seen here for some time. The Cotswold weatherman has just tweeted this:
Rain rate of 37mm per hour here in Cirencester as the convection front reaches us. Just horrendous conditions.
I wonder if my cache under the bridge will be lucky and survive a second major flooding
