What is the distance of the furthest cache find from your home?
To keep it fun and not thrust too many rules at the poll, just keep a bit of reality to your answer For example, there is at least one puzzle cache which has it's final coords in the south of the UK, but on the map it's over 7000 miles from the Cotswolds. If you have found that one for example, it's not really 7000 miles from home is it?
I'm well over 1000 miles from "home", whichever way you look at it. In one respect, home will always be New Zealand, and therefore all the caches I have found in the UK are over 1000 miles from home. On the other hand, for the last 12 years, I have lived in the UK, therefore the caches I have found in NZ are over 1000 miles from home.

We were fortunate enough to have a holiday in the south of Spain and did a couple of caches. Mixed feelings about this as it ended the mega caching streak that we were on.
My furthest cache is on Spanish soil, at a bit over 1800 miles, which I found very recently
A few years ago, I went to the Albox area of Spain and was surprised to see how few caches there were, I think my PQ got to over 50 miles before I reached the 1000 cache limit
Otherside of the world.. according to my profile.. I located it, virtually, but my folks visited it. Even introduced caching to my niece! I will be visiting all the Aussie caches claimed myself on next trip over.
Over 10% of my finds are further than 1000 miles! Unfortunately, I couldn't say exactly, as I am not sure exactly how many caches I have found in total, nor how many I found while in NZ. I think I found approx 200 in NZ, and I know I have found over 1000 caches in total (though I am not sure how many over).
Speaking of events, and in line with this (closed) poll, what's the furthest event attended from your home? I may have caches found on opposite sides of the globe, but I have attended events only in the UK. Not sure where the furthest from Red Lodge is, but I expect it was the Mega in Weston-super-Mere, which would be only about 225 miles away.
The chances are small at the moment. I really would like to go. It is a long way, but that is not the main hurdle at this time. Family members other weekend activities are still not confirmed yet. My non-work time is mostly ruled by them. I haven't given up hope yet though.
