Less than 2 weeks to halloween. The infection has taken rehold of me in a bad way (see avatar), but currently I am keeping strong and resisting the urge to snack. I don't know how long I can resist though My apologies in advance.
Halloween was quite uneventful. I kept my fangs retracted like a good little infected vampire zombie thingy.
Today however with newly published caches arriving in my inbox, but all too far away for me to do whilst being on-call for work, I became a little low, disappointed that I couldn't go out, and so kept myself busy doing chores which I had been set by Big T Little C. One of which was to get up into the loft and get down the Christmas tree and decs Still not quite in the festive mood, it wasn't something I was enthusiastic about doing, not least because the hatch to the loft space with ladder extended is tighter than that of the entrance to Below Above - The Janitor's Blither, the cache that started all of this in the first place. It's quite a challenge getting items in and out of there.
Anyways, after squeezing myself up there and shining my torch around briefly something swooped down from the rafters and attached itself to the side of my neck! Dang it, not again! I wasn't that worried as I already carried a blood sucking flesh eating virus, what could be possibly be worse than that? Still, I didn't let it there long, I grabbed a hold of it and tore it from my neck. When I aimed the torch at what was in my hand I saw... a bat, a large one, of not a breed I had seen around the farm. It flapped it's wings furiously and screeched at me, but I held it tight.
