Now I know they moved them basically over to waypoint / waymarking ?? But I haven't signed up to that, because there are still some left in the UK on GC.
Now I claimed the two I found in London, and it got me thinking, before they do get arhived, why not chase down the last of them before they go, so that's:
ENGLAND

Some of the places they are near actually tick off a few other places at the same time, but I was wondering, who else has these type of caches as finds, any thing worth noting? Any stories? And what do you think about them full spot?

I like web cams - can be a pain to grab the image but they are still fun and a shame there aren't many left.
The one at Llanberis you can get right up close to it. Jill grab the image while she was at work. She said it was like a reporter in a far off land giving a video report (I was on my mobile for sound), the mouth wasn't in-sink with the sound
I should try and grab the one in Leeds, as I normally get close to it at Christmas, when I visit my sister in Wakefield.
I hope to grab the one in Leeds on my next trip up north to Holly's.
I find them great fun because it's not something that is too much work (unless on the end of a phone to friend trying to get them to take the picture for you) and not a simple grab. I can gather some people can if they really want to cheat themselves the system to claim them, but it's up to you how you want to claim them, I created a Union flag with my profile name on to use when claiming.
I also found one in Dublin which I'm tempted to add to the list, but it's not in UK.

I was in Llanberis recently for my Dad's 70th (we climbed Snowdon), but I didn't get the opportunity of getting this one. There's a screen in the building at the cache location which shows the webcam feed, so you could have a companion take a photo of the screen as opposed to organizing a screen image capture from your phone or a PC back home.
I found a very ancient and special one which was archived just days after we found it
Personally I enjoy webcam caches, though I wouldn't want them to be brought back like I want virtuals back.... Having a small quantity makes finding them more special
I have finally managed to re-arrange our annual Scout camp that always clashes with the Mega event. I think I will be staying with Mrs TJ and Omis49 in a cottage for the week.
As this forum was originally about web cams you might also like to see this one which appears to be still loggable.

GCKVYF London - West End Webcam = Oxford Circus, London
I wasted some time trying to do this one whilst in London recently. After picking up the clues for an Earth Cache I checked I could access the cam on my phone, and I could, so I made my way over to this one. I decided instead of standing by the underground sign I would stand in the central reservation as there was massive amounts of traffic, including large buses that would of blocked the cam view of me. When I clicked on the page for the web cam again though, the cam had gone down!! I waited in the central reservation for about quarter of an hour, but it didn't come back on
I was a bit miffed. I have only ever done one web cam before, and that was the Banbury one, which was part of the flash mob. This one was to be my first cam done properly on my own. My time ran out though and I had to move on to what I was supposed to be doing
