If you need any pointers to puzzles pigdogboyandgirls, we have worked out most and have completed a few with the aim to complete the rest in the next week, we are on the Island till the 14th
Glad some of you are getting out finding caches, or making plans to travel to go find some. My caching has been minimal this week. I did find a new TC virtual today though
Managed to get out and see the Vulcan fly-by over Brize Norton. Decided on a hillock by Lew just east of Brize. I didn't fancy the road by the airfield and glad I didn't go that way when I saw all the mayhem down there, from this hillock
Good mobile signal, so could track her coming in with an app, the XH558 was 10 minutes early
It was just a line up with the run way:
and then fly-by - hello:
bye bye:
Walking back, met a chap and his kids just getting to the top of this hillock and he said, was that it Yep, just a fly-by was my answer, she was about 10 mins early
Wasn't going to be a caching day today as we had lots of other things to do. However, the new girls a few doors down were having a party (again) and were singing in the street at about 1.30am, I couldn't sleep much after that so I got up and set off to Bathford area and went for a lone mooch about in one of the quarries. Re-visited Don't Drink The Water and A Tour In Browns, did a part of the Janitors Blither and Treacle Mine route, then got distracted and started exploring some side passages I don't think I have been in before. Finished with a visit to Devil's Chamber (as it is a day of worship) then exited the quarry, found a quick driveby cache, and then headed home for breakfast just as the rest of the family were getting up.
Today my first series after our break on the Isle of Wight, the James Bonds series of caches in Worcestershire well recommended some great hides and a good walk a total of 34 caches in total
