Noticed something happened with CF yesterday and I couldn't get in. I see now through here that there has been an update. I have just got back in again, but I am not set back up properly there yet. There is a new third incarnation of the CacheFace platform. Unfortunately the the members and data are not being migrated over. It looks very different. The groups feature is coming back in better way, which interests me.

Yes unfortunately, if you want to go onto the new cacheface.social site you need to.

It's a bit annoying, and I expect some won't bother, but I signed up again this morning and I am impressed so far. Where it had elements of FB both it's first two incarnations, this time it's even more similar, for example the feature to tag people in photos for one.

I hope it takes off again, and that if there are any more site updates that they can just migrate the members and data.
