Had an awesome weekend in London, went with a non caching friend so only forced her to attempt one cache ...which sadly failed We tried the Reflections Of Neal's Yard, but were slightly um...jolly...at the time and got paranoid about being too conspicuous and gave up. I hope to go back a couple of times this year with better results. Has anyone else cached in the Big Smoke?
Have a look ay my profile for 23rd February. I did a pocket query for all the caches in London, organised them in order of favourite points and then started from the top.
It was like a military operation working out the shortest routes via the tube, I found some brilliant caches.
Yes, it was me. Definitely a must visit cache if you are in the area. I assume the 2 web cams are still Abbey Road and London - West End Web Cam. Abbey road is hilarious with all the motorists getting annoyed with all the Japanese tourists doing the Abbey Road picture on the crossing.
I've done a few in the big smoke but it was no military operation like TJ's but more, we were going to an area, so I checked out what caches were near by

Abbey Road is one of the London TCs I didn't find during my visit. I may get back to do it sometime, as there are three or four TCs in and around Richmond Park.
I know what you mean about having to plan the route of the day! I managed to grab six TCs in my jaunt to London, which seems not a great number in retrospect - but took me some time nevertheless!
My favourite cache of the day was Prime Meridian, but (as my cache log states) that may have had something to do with the beer!
I have only ever looked for and found one in London, Norman Wisdom's Big Break. I wasn't going to cache that day, but I was sat in a little park area eating a sandwich waiting for the doors to open for a concert and that one was just a few feet from me and so I couldn't help myself

Thats the problem Gackt, starts with one, then suddenly two.. And before you know it your 30 a day, hunting them down left, right AND centre
I really now fancy a trip to london for caching.. Hmm.
I'm hoping to go again in June/July, don't think I'll make it any sooner than that. You really do have to be a caching ninja in London though, don't you!
