Well done on passing! The force is strong with you, but you are not a jedi yet. Vader Lasciate ogne speranza, voi ch'intrate or Earnanæs, þæs wyrmes denn you must face. Then, only then, a Jedi you will be. Or something
in one sentence before It was great fun, but hard and scary. There is unfinished business at the end of that one too, in the form of an opencache called il Nono Cerchio. After getting to Lasciate GZ I peered down the hole that led the way to the Ninth Circle and said "not today thank you".
You have opened many adventure filled opportunities for yourself with your training

Cheers Robbo, good to be back here. So when we seeing you next?
Tomorrow PDGB with son and dog, and I will be heading off for Hippo Below, I can't wait to go, this should be a good laugh. Although already thinking of more 'extremes' to go get..
Had a text, so I know all safely survived Well done.
As this is a general Extreme Caches thread I just wanted to post up this link which I saw on the groundspeak forums today: Facebook Extreme Geocaching UK database
It is not actually hosted on FB, which I am thankful for. But a note from Amberel on the groundspeak forum post does say that discussion about the database should take place on the FB Extreme Geocaching UK group. I do not have a link for the group I'm afraid as I don't use, but someone else may know it.
(Edit: Added the link to the database in the resource section)

As far as I can see there are only 2 in Worcestershire/Gloucestershire/Warwickshire/Herefordshire and I have done them both

Rubbish
There is a scuba 5/5 in South Gloucestershire, CUBA Phone Box Cache #40. I tried to add it yesterday, but it didn't add. I think it was me though, as I was pretty tired and not sure what I was doing.
I won't be doing that cache any time soon either. Swimming is not a problem, but I am nowhere near being a 'qualified PADI open water diver' as the cache page says is needed.
Turns out that I had added that cache to the new database yesterday, it's just that the database has tagged it as being in Avon, not South Gloucestershire. To me South Gloucestershire seems more correct, but hey. So back to just the 2x 5/5s in the area.
Well done Pir8sOld&New and PDBG! I'm going to have to have a go at that one Hope to be down your way soon to see you all.
So... only 2 extremes in Worcestershire/Gloucestershire/Warwickshire/Herefordshire.....might have to have a think about where I could take my rope to place some as well as find some
It also looks like I'm going to have to add scuba diving lessons to my list & buy a canoe....my Mum's going to have a fit!!

Whether or not anyone is interested there is a current groupon deal for climbing courses at Cricklade leisure centre. 1 lesson for £13 or a 6 week beginners course for £39. 50 odd% saving on the 6 week course. Not far away for some of you.....
