I remember that news clip about the double yellow lines
Such a lovely day, managed to complete the Eastleach Loop today Been meaning to walk the loop for some time and find the rest (ten caches), after a few were found as FTF's. Also found another new (while I was on holiday) local cache on route.
I'm clearing my 10 mile zone of unfound caches. I've now got three to go
A little series around Tickenham south of Bristol today, the Monkeying Around series 15 individual caches, putting our total up to 3992 perhaps the 4000 this week-end
I was woken this morning to someone trying to break in to my mother's car, luckily they set off the alarm and by the time I got from my digs to outside, they had gone. I closed the window on the car and re-locked the car after checking 100 metres up and down our road.
My mother is still in bed, and I'm tired. It's going to be a long day.
Did some more of the Thames Path from Neigh Bridge. Got my 1500th on the way. Tried for Gackt's Terracache multi nearby but looks like the first stage is no longer there.

The first stage has indeed gone, and the final too. I archived the final in July. It was found by muggles too many times, having all the toy trolls taken from it a couple of times, the logbook gone missing a couple of times, and the whole container, I gave in. I intend putting one or two more TCs around the area soon, time is against me at the moment. Did see your log on the Neigh Bridge though

A nice walk with Mrs YY and the 2 geokids. Some nice caches and a lunch stop and wander around Hidcote Manor Garden. About 7 miles round the "M" series to/from Mickleton, including the biggest cache container we've all seen so far. About 20 finds, I think and no DNFs.
We completed that series yesterday @yorkshire Yellow
7 miles - how did you extend the route? We went eastwards up the hill from Hidcote and then right down the road and back down to meet up with #6 - just under 6 miles overall (think the actual series is 4.5 miles).

A few caches first thing before the Cat & Custard Pot, great to put faces to some names, and we logged our 4000th cache at the event, thanks Tom for a well organised and well attended event. Looking forward to the next

Good to see you at the Event. Hadn't realised you had logged your 4000th cache at the Event - well done

To be honest, I haven't a clue how we did that sort of distance.
I do sometimes wonder if my GPSr accurately records the total trip distance correctly.
We did do a lot of wandering round Hidcote Manor, and Mrs YY and I had a game of tennis (GPSr still in my pocket!).
I did a lot of running around with the geokids as well, and from the car park entrance at Hidcote we walked along a tree-line picnic area to look at the view and back, which seemed like a long way.
I'm glad the geokids (4 & 8) managed it okay, as we haven't done anything like that for a few weeks and we're aiming to do 10 miles of the Five Valleys charity walk a the end of the month (unfortunately though there are only 2 or 3 caches en-route which I've yet to find).
