Solved the newly published cache The Templar Quest #4 - The Knights. It seems as though others might have as well, as there's a few people watching it.
If I have time on the way home from work I may take a short diversion to try and find Hatherley Park, as 15 September is a gap in my caching calendar.
I wondered if I went down to Fairford, I might get a view of the 'Battle of Britain Day Flypast' 'Red Section' and a bit of caching while waiting but the take off time got pushed back from noon to 2pm. So just a bit of caching, the The Fairford Trail, six caches
I also popped into St Mary's church, as I had ages ago, heard on a radio interview, about the near complete set of original stained glass windows, which were installed in the early 1500's.
Swapped the top soil pile for logs Was this a good idea with the weather forecast to have a load of logs delivered this afternoon The logs were ordered nine days ago in lovely weather.
Well the rain held off and we managed to stack the logs before the down pour started

A 6.5 mile run to/from Calcott Manor, finding 'Trim Trail' and 'Beech Shot' but failing at 'Sycamore Shot'. No logs since last found in mid-June but signs of pretty recent searching. I suspect some cachers have had a go but not logged their DNFs.
Needed to get to a bank today, so it was Witney or Cirencester. Cirencester had the chance of a FTF, which would fill at date on my FTF calendar, so there I went and found a blank log plus two other caches, before heading into town

Yesterday - As a family we did 8.1 miles of the 5 Valleys Walk in aid of Meningitis Now, including 4 yo Annie, who walked all but 0.25 of a mile of it herself. We found one cache along the route, the "Fine Pair" at Brimscombe.

Yesterday - me and the two geokids found seherazade's brilliant new cache in the middle of Dursley, The TB Waiting Room. A great cache, which me and the geokids thought was really well done. They liked the resident TB and how the inside of the container was furnished.

Managed to find this one after a bit of a hunt, plus another pretty regulation find just before it.
