When I say I have done 66 out of 75 caches along the Thames, I mean the Thames head to Lechlade. total chackes is like 137 if I heard right.
(Double post with an hour between :/)
Well, spent today on the phone to Port of London Authority so I have more work to do thank I liked, now have cancelled attending Lake Districts with father from this weekend to Thursday working, to work home on boat if need be after tomorrow's test.
PDBG, I'm hitting Cotswold Water Parks 1pm with the boat, the Old Man has managed to sort out help with equipment and testing her with the boat people there, got to get a load of pictures of her in the water, and got to flip her over to check her handling and stability. Thanks for offer with help, if you still fancy coming along, all welcome.

We tested her this afternoon at South Cerney Outdoor Centre, in the big lake there. They loved the boat, they didn't know what to expect but surprised with how well she is built. First I went out on her, and man I'm rusty with paddles, but she's as fast as a snail!
The duty manager then took her out, tested her, and then the expert down there took her out and tested her! It's had two people in her at the same time, even had her upside down and tested her. Now time to make the modifications she needs and back down on Monday to the water park with Rob (the guy I'm doing it with) to give her one last test and a lap of the lake and the next trip..
I was wondering, I wonder how high a profile you wanted your expedition to be? Do you intend keeping it low key, or would you be happy if local papers like the Standard learnt of what you were doing? Just thinking, because I know I have sent out a general tweet about this thread recently, but before I go too far and tweet towards the Standard or he Echo etc, is that something you would want, or not? It might be good to bring in some more cash, but it's up to you. Let me know.

Hey Gackt, We are planning on sending out Media from Monday once I have photo's of Rob and I in the boat, on the water, I'm welcome to others publising her and the challenge, as any and all publicity is good publicity.
I know you don't do Facebook, but we also have a facebook page for her which I'm in the middle of updating:
It's between that and the just giving, which we will be using. I'm trying to deal with Boat, Testing, Media, Authorisation between agencies and also route staying. (No rest for the wicked!) so it is taking time.

Really sorry but I've double booked myself for Sunday. Was planning on coming along and having a paddle for a couple of miles to keep you company. Fortunately the promise of a free drink means that some of us will come and wave you off from the bank instead and we'll have to plan another boating trip.
Just a quick check, is it Saturday or Sunday the actual launch? The Facebook page is saying Sunday, but the JustGiving page says the 13th which is tomorrow.
I think I can get there for either time, but want to make sure so I don't miss it. Thanks.
