I haven't put any forward as I've lost GSAK (hard disk crash) to work out what Cotswold caches I have visited, are 'new' caches and I think worthy of nominating.
In fact I haven't done much caching in the area for a good long while , just the odd one or two for a FTF I hope to change this in the New Year when things get back to normal ;D
With all the chatter on this thread, it is difficult to ascertain what are the rules for nominating a cache. At first it was just a Cotswold Cache but this could lead to the same cache each year winning, so rules were set.
I think it will help if there is a list of the rules on one post as they are for this year.
e.g.
Is 01 July 2011 the cut off date for 'new' caches?
My apologies for letting things get a bit muddled for something that started out simple. I will see if I can tidy things up a bit later on, but for now to clear it up a bit:
Yes to Is 01 July 2011 the cut off date for 'new' caches?
No to Does the cache have to be on your favourite list?
I've got an idea about how I am going to tidy this award up, making it all nice, simple and clear again. I am going to talk with xJammmzy offline about it before I do. Like I really should of talked through with someone before starting the whole award so it would never of got so muddlesome. Sorry.
For now if anyone wants to put further nominations up, that would be nice. I will have this all straightened out very soon.
Sorry for the late reply. I would like to keep to individual caches for for this award. So if series', like that one for example, are worthy of nomination I would do as you suggested may be an idea and nominate the bonus, or look at the series as a whole nominate one or two of the more notably awesome caches from the circuit.
I am behind on many things including sorting out this, of which I apologise. I will be spending a little time right now moving a few posts around and re-setting up this award.
Although I had previously decided not to do more that the one award, after having chats off line I am going to set up two. I will be keeping the original award, but start a new thread showing the basic rules clearly, which will be for caches published from July 2011 onwards. Will be a second award also for 'cache of all time', where there will be no publish by date. For the later award, I don't know if it will be worth doing again next year, but it works for this year, and more members may feel it is easier to participate in.
