Reviewers can't count... They were disabled in late October - note they said 'nearly' - just to make me feel worse and exaggerate the situation
January, I posted a note (before reviewers came along) saying I aimed to maintain post mid June. No, it is not incredibly reasonable, but unfortunately getting good GCSE grades is more important to me than replacing a few odd caches - I have had to prioritize; the run-in is from September to June... October is within that timeframe, otherwise I'd have replaced them during December, latest.
Imo, all that matters is that the caches are replaced. As long as the cacher is active online, at least, does the timeframe matter? As I told the reviewer in my prior note, I will replace the caches in July and ask them to unarchive - so it'll all be pointless in the end
I know I said I never wanted to go over to Terracaching and Opencaching, but would an event work three ways? (to be fair, I only play the geocaching and not waymarking etc).

I kind of did that with that one of the pub events last year, in that it was listed on the 3 listing sites. It didn't have very much attention on the opencaching and TC side. I am open to do something like that again, but not for this. If I was just to list it on those sites I do not think many if any people will attend.
For this event I know what I am going to do now. There will be 2 events. Both will be listed as simple meet and greet pub events a few weeks apart. The first called 'Prelude', in which anyone who attends I will explain the name and what will happen at the 'Ascension'. Details will also be let here and via social media.
So in effect it will go ahead just as planned, just not detailed in the cache pages.

It like playing another game - how to get my cache published but keeping it how I wanted it
The simple meet and greet pub event for the the day of the church tower opening has been published. Now to start spreading the word about the tower opening and YOSM's position from that day.

I'm hoping that a taxi or other will bring me along. Working another week of bloody night shifts so it'll be nice to have a pub breakfast. Fingers crossed!
Dodgy internet for many this morning, and poor weather initially, I wondered if anyone would come.. but they did. Thank you
Good to meet up again with some of you, plus got to meet a few more people I haven't before.
Then it was off to the tower...
..some of us even confused the locals by stopping by the bell room on the way up and down. I hope the people below didn't set their watches to the chimes that were ringing out

Edit: YSM number to put in the log for the Church Tower is YSM576.
