I hope everyone is having a good time. Not the greatest few days for me, fever, glands in my neck stood out making me look like a King Cobra, chest so tight can't walk further than 50yrds without getting out of breath On the mend I feel now though. New cache by cir3ngirl came out a couple of days ago less than half mile from my house, still haven't managed to walk to it yet. Would of been a chance for me to have ticked of the 25th. Never mind, going to try later today, and 26th needs ticking off so all is not lost.
Was anyone given any caching related prezzies, or did you give any yourself? Did anyone go out and do any caching on Christmas Day?
I received a reach grabber. Like a litter grabber, but also has magnetic tips to the claw ends. I am sure it will become useful at some point for caching

Got to an event and a ftf on Christmas day. Very happy with both Didn't manage a new gps but did get a fancy pen that will write upside down and on wet paper so that will come in handy and a new head torch as my other favourite one is kaput. I'm just getting over a bout of man flu and I tried drowning the last of it last night with a whole bottle of vodka, think it worked!
Great gifts both of you! And it's great you managed some caches too
Sorry to hear you've been under the weather too pigdogboyandgirls. I went out for a short time yesterday, for a half hour at Ashton Keynes to a duck race, and for the little walk from home to do that new close cache to me. I am still far from 100%, so staying in the warm today and drinking lots of tea (yes just tea, a big sign there's something quite wrong with me) to get my strength up for the CacheWalker Event walk tomorrow.
Yep, the flu has been vicious. Haven't played table tennis for two weeks now - that's bad! I got a pine cone container and some TBs so will have fun setting those out. Managed to persuade the family to come with me to Templar's Quest #2 to grab a Christmas Day cache - and that was my best pressie Get well soon, everyone

Get well soon sly2. It's great you got out to find a cache on the day. Look forward to a sneaky hide with your container.. not too high up a tree please
Didn't know about this reserve, but we'll have to head over some time to marvel at the creatures and investigates what sounds to be a great cache. Look forward to it
