Was reminded about this by TJ at the CW event yesterday. Being free for that day shouldn't be a problem, but now Christmas is near enough over I will need to check through finances to check we're not in the red, and also have a proper chat with Tracy before I give my definite yes.
Collapsed into a long sleep after work yesterday, so just briefly talked with Tracy just now. 7th Feb is fine, so can put me down to go, be that for a full day caching, or just meeting up for part of the day. Started talking about possibly rest of family going. Will talk with her more about that later, because if they do want to it would be more of a 50/50 day, half caching / half doing something else, and would need to take the bus then of course.
Going to book coach tickets tonight/tomorrow morning. Big T Little C (Tracy and Chloe) will be coming with me this time. Planning to leave for London later than last time to get into the centre for about 10am. Will leave the centre for home about 7pm. Will hopefully join up with the rest of you for a few caches, then head off to a few sights alone as Chloe has not done London before but at the same time won't want to walk a massive distance like some of us are capable of.
Pir8sOld&New please let me know if you want me to book a ticket for you or if you will travel in separately. NE are doing there usual thing of changing their quoted prices up and down every time I look at them, but if I book in the next 24hrs I am confident it will be less than £12 a seat.
Me, Storm, and Big T Little C will arrive at Victoria at 09:45, and will depart from the same place at 19:30.
Decide a bit closer the time when and where to meet with others to go find a few caches. Us above will disappear for a couple of hours at start or end of day to visit the Science and/or the History museum as Chloe has not visited them before.
I've spotted a very interesting cache by amberel in greater London, but quite a distance from the centre, so don't think it's one for this visit. But I certainly am very interested in taking a trip to do, plus maybe a few more in that area later in the year?
The cache is this one: Africa! on geocaching.com, but I first noticed it on opencaching here, so it is cross listed. It looks like a lot of work has gone in to it.
Wow, looks complex. Might need to plan a whole day to do that one.
If you do the History and Science museum properly then they will take you all day. You are also only a short stroll from Harrods so could go and have a look around the perfume/jewellery departments.
I've been to the museums a few times, and taken Tom and James before. So wouldn't be a long visit. In the science museum last time I took them there was a section designed just for kids, where you could make rockets and do other experiments, so will probably just go visit that part. And in the history museum just take them to a couple of the large dinosaur bone exhibits. I do want to do some caching too
Golden Valley This one is in St Pauls and costs £17 to get in so I may save this one for when I have Mrs TJ in tow
If I do those I will then have the top 20 favourited caches in London, BUT I will go wherever the rest of you go I am sure I will be back sometime soon

I like the look of those. Golden Valley I will probably have to give a miss, money a bit tight at the moment and so £41.50 to get Storm, Big T Little C and myself in is not going to happen.
Wonder if any of the clues in the National History museum can be researched before hand..
These are the ones I would like to do and all the ones TJ suggested are on this list but as Golden Gallery costs £17, this might have to be done another time. Also, MMMonument is still disabled but work has finished, no monument is back yet but could be soon.
Happy to do any of the ones suggested. The Oxford Circus webcam will be my third attempt if we do, hopefully that will be third time lucky
If those of you who will be in London for the major part of the day want to plan the caches you want to do, Big T Little C, Storm, and I will meet up with you at some point after arrival and do a few with the group.
