But Who to make one for.. And where to put it, and to be honest..
What the hell do I have to do and what's envolved, I have no clue.. I can't watch the video!
I followed the link in the email and the submission page seems to be a 'lite' version of the regualar cache submission page.
walktall - please could you talk through the submission process from your experience if possible?
For Swindon cachers, I'll propose that we form a ring where we all place one for each other. That means (assuming we're all happy with this approach) that you'll either be placing for me or PDBG unless other people want to join in too!
OK, done some quick research - Lab caches are not reveiewed at all, althogh we're asked to follow all the usual laws. Therefore placement close to another cache shouldn't be a problem I think
If the Swindon group is happy to extend their hiding / finding out a few miles of the town, then put me down as an interested person.
Do you want to pair up on this and place them in or around Tetbury?
Happy to. I am quite lucky to be in a central location, to many members on here. I am happy to go any direction, as long as it's not massive miles. Tetburyish is good with me.
I have a cache idea ready. It will have a physical cache. So.. (asking everybody as I guess not many people know much more than anyone else at this point), should I ask the person to take the cache they find with them? Or do I have to go retrieve the box myself?
Yorkshire Yellow.. would you be happy with a highish terrain cache, a 4*ish? ..and now that puts another question in my mind, when you create these caches do give it a D/T rating like other caches? I guess only walktall has this answer so far? Please let us know.
There is no option for D/T or hint. You also cannot add a comment when you log it.
Wha!? So, you can't then upload photos then either I guess? Dang. Oh well, at least the finder should get a good memory to keep out of it... if I do it right
